A Memorable Carpet Weaving Experience
During our stay at Silk Road, we had the wonderful opportunity to try our hand at carpet weaving right after breakfast. It was an unexpected and special experience that added a touch of authenticity to our stay. The hotel's charm, with its homely feel and warm welcome, truly made us feel immersed in Armenian traditions. The staff were friendly and attentive, introducing us to a fantastic local guide company. Our room, although basic, had lovely craftsy touches and was spotlessly clean. The patio garden, filled with Armenian arts and crafts, was a delightful place to relax. I highly recommend this unique heritage property.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for those who want to be close to the city center but still enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. there's no shortage of local Armenian villages nearby, chock-full of culture and tradition. As for the hotel itself, the service is noteworthy. the staff is accommodating and ready to help, even calling lost luggage drivers. Breakfast, often homemade, is a real treat. Rooms, cleaned daily, feature wooden floors and beautiful rugs.
The size of the tea cups and wine glasses may leave some guests desiring more.

During my stay in a heritage hotel during Christmas, I really enjoyed the lovely breakfast with local delicacies and unlimited refills of hot beverages like coffee and tea. The hotel's terrace garden was a great place to enjoy the cool breeze and taste local wines. being located close to the town center and a metro station made it very easy to explore the city.
The hotel's room lacked proper heating despite the winter season. there was no elevator, which made carrying luggage and bags upstairs quite cumbersome and inconvenient.

Clean and cozy, with friendly staff. Great location within walking distance to the metro. Free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast provided a good value for the price.
The shower cabin door was a bit awkward to navigate. the hotel did not have a lot of amenities, but it did have a small restaurant.
